The Chameleon protocol is a lifesaver for travel
5 out of 5 starsElena MorettiI spend several months a year working in countries with heavy internet censorship, and VyprVPN's proprietary Chameleon protocol is the only thing that consistently bypasses deep packet inspection. Because they own and operate 100% of their hardware and network (no rented servers!), the connection stability is unmatched. It feels very premium and secure. Their recent update to include WireGuard has also made the connection speeds blazingly fast.
Secure and audited, but struggles with some streaming
4 out of 5 starsMarkus_S_DevI appreciate that VyprVPN was one of the first providers to undergo a full independent audit of their no-logs policy. They are clearly a privacy-first company. The app is very clean and professional. The only reason for the 4-star rating is that I've had a harder time unblocking Hulu and Disney+ compared to Nord or Express. If you prioritize privacy and bypassing censorship over entertainment, this is the best choice.
